Re: Living in Sweden with a house in La Marina
Like i told you, i can't go that weekend with you, i dont know if anyone from here can go with you that weekend, any way, if you have a Garmin GPS and tell us what are you thinking about your plan we can send you a track for your gps with waypoints on the route to sleep, refueling, how many km do you want to do ..... what ever. If you gonna rent a bike here in spain, take care because sometimes , the bike insurance don´t take care if you riding offroad.PerW escribió:I'm flattered over the warm welcome! Thank you all!ignitionpoint escribió:Welcome , like said merzouga i live near from La Marina in Torrevieja. Great videos, by the way, the 690 with the rally kit its your´s? I love it.
Well, when you come back to spain if you want to try ride with us you have to tell it here, and will be a pleasure for all, show you our lovely country on the route.
Here some people we speak some english, but the rider´s language its the same all the world.
Yes, ignitionpoint, the 690 with the rallykit is my beloved bike. I drive her all year around - in snow and on gravelroads and in the woods. It's a real beuty.
I'll be in La Marina 23/2-27/2. Do you plan any riding? There are three of us going down only to have an offroad adventure. My friends are renting bikes friday-sunday, BMW650GS. It would be fantastic if we could meet up with you one or all of the days. I'll be checking this forum. You could also reach me on +46 766 273 613.
See you soon!
Re: Living in Sweden with a house in La Marina
Google translator is great! I'm able to read all your posts, even if the translations are a bit funny sometimes.
Ignitionpoint, we do have a Garmin GPS, and if you have a route or two you would like to share it would be fantastic. Normally we ride on gralvelroads between 250 and 400 km in a day. The mayor plan is to return to La Marina every evening, but that could be changed. As you point out it could be a problem with the insuranse to do heavy offroading with the renatal bikes - but a little taste we need to have.
Well, if I don't meet any of you this weekend I'm really looking forward to meet you and ride together with you in a near future. If any of you are on Facebook I have plenty of pictures on my page from our adventures in Svandinavia.
Take good care and thank you for so generiously charing information and welcoming me in your forum, Per

I'm sorry but my bike is out. I belive it'll be ready in a couple of weeks, not before, but Ignition point will be able to help you in order to prepare a nice day if you can manage with GPS.
